Pediatrics
There are several therapies in Traditional Chinese Medicine that can be used for pediatric care such as: acupuncture (smaller needles and tacks), laser acupuncture, cupping, and tuina massage. Let’s talk more about tuina massage. . . .
In China’s Hospitals, specifically the Pediatric Department, there are Tuina Doctors. Tuina is a medical massage consisting of various techniques for children and even adults. In TCM a child’s energy system (e.g. meridian development) is different than an adult’s energy system and so the tuina techniques are also different. Below are three brief videos on how tuina massage can help children experiencing certain health conditions.
